Typical scenarios

Conference or trade show

300 attendees, exhibitors with their own devices, and organizational tech that must work without failure. We deploy a segmented network with separate VLANs for exhibitors, organizers and the public, a redundant uplink, and Wi-Fi coverage of the entire venue. We are present for the duration of the event.

Pilot project or test environment

The company is testing a new software or hardware solution and needs an isolated network environment that does not affect production. We set up a test network with the appropriate topology, configure it to the test requirements, and remove it when finished — without ever touching the production infrastructure.

Temporary office or construction site

A project needs a temporary office at a location that does not yet have permanent infrastructure. We set up a complete network with a VPN connection to the central office, Wi-Fi for workers, and required services — for weeks or months, for the duration of the project.

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance do I need to book?

For standard requirements — ideally 5 to 10 working days in advance so we can prepare and configure the equipment. For more complex requirements (larger number of access points, specific topology, integration with existing systems), we recommend 2 to 3 weeks. For urgent cases, contact us — we do our best to accommodate.

Do you come on-site to set everything up?

Yes — on-site setup and configuration are included in the service. For larger events, we also recommend technical presence for the duration, so we can respond quickly to any issues on the spot.

What equipment do you offer?

Enterprise network equipment — Cisco switches and routers, Wi-Fi access points (Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti), firewall devices. All equipment is tested and configured to project requirements. For specific requests, ask us — if we do not have it in the current inventory, we can arrange it.

What if something stops working during the event?

For important events, we recommend on-site technical presence from the Codex Media team. In any case, we are available by phone for quick support and diagnostics. For critical events, we plan redundant equipment — a spare device ready for fast swap.

Can I also get an internet connection with the equipment?

We coordinate internet connections with local providers — contact us with the location and requirements and we will check availability and options. For temporary locations where wired connectivity is not available, 4G/5G solutions with professional routers are also possible.

How much does rental cost?

The price depends on the type and quantity of equipment, the rental duration, and the scope of service (delivery only, or also setup and support). Contact us with a description of the project and you will receive a concrete offer. For projects that require permanent infrastructure, also consider our refurbished equipment as a cost-effective alternative to buying new.
